getting my money’s worth.

Although I ran sans music, it was a good, easy 44.5 min  5 miler tonight…I thought it was going to rain again and was NOT going to make the same mistake with the ipod, lol. Today flew by; in fact I was pondering the summer tonight during the run, and how that slid through my clasped fingers as well. It is strange how, it seems right after I got my fishing license and signed up for Freedom Lake, got the kids all the beach stuff they could need, the time went *HAhaHAha* and we didn’t take advantage of these memberships as much as we could have. AKA getting my money’s worth. I never seem to. There are times I am so impulsive it’s scary~ all part of the adhd, I guess. Like when I signed up online for the HALF-MARATHON the NIGHT of my first triathlon! Well, I know I can do it but not in a week. I need to train smart, not get injured.

Well, we had Faithy over last night for a very short sleepover, and Natalie wasn’t happy. She likes things a certain way and even though she was with her cousin, she was inflexible and not accomodating at all like I’d imagined.

We had a big dinner thanks to Vera Pizza (the best!) and some Pinot Grigio. It was fun, we even went outside for a while. After mike and Laur left, Faithy sort of just stuck around me as I flew around the house doing chores, and she has so many questions….I almost forgot that at that age, the questions are many, and sometimes it is a real challenge answering them at their level.

So needless to say, I’m tired- and need to go to church tomorrow!

I also need to take all the continuing ed courses I paid for…I really need to get my money’s worth.
